What Causes Severe Leg Pain Despite Having Pramipexole?

Question: I have been given another tablet for irritable leg syndrome. I have been taking Ropinirole for a number of years but one or two tablets do not cover 24 hours. My doctor has given me Pramipexole with instructions to stop one night of Ropinirole and the next night take the new tablet. I tried last evening but could not sit down or sleep so succumbed and took the usual 2 Ropinirole at 12 a.m. How do I get round this problem.

1. Id pramipexole as a replacement for ropinirole or is it an addition for you to be on two medications?

2. How often were you advised to take pramipexole?

These two medications can be taken together if one alone cannot control your symptoms. I will like to know what your doctor is bout doing at this time: combining both or substituting one for the other. I will then pick up from there.
