Question: Last night I had an extreme headache and nausea. This morning, I had the same symptoms, but the headache and nausea hava abated somewhat since I threw up, multiple times. Now, however, I have a moderate tremor in my hands, and it won't stop. What could it be, and what should I do?

Brief Answer:
Tension headache or Benign Intracranial tension

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query, I am sorry about the problem.

With the little that you described I assume that you had not had this in the past and this is the first attack on its own. Am I right? I hope you were not diabetic or high BP treated or untreated?
If no to all of the above and first episode it looks to be tension headache or Benign intracranial tension causing the nausea and vomiting. You can take symptomatic treatment with anti emetics, Tylenol and antacid.
If these are recurring or if you had these episodes in the past, it warrants an examination including CT scan brain.

Hope this addresses questions.
