What Causes Severe Dizziness, Pain In Left Leg, Tightness In Face And Head?

Question: Hi sir I am feelingfeeling lot of dizziness pain in left leg tightness in left side of face and pain in head sometimes at left side and dizziness since last month MRI ltd std brain is nrml I m afraid if i am going to have a stroke or there is clot in brain dctr has prescrbd me toficalm.maxmal50 restplus etizolam m very tnsd since LST 50 days due to this...does stroke. Symptoms are seen 60 days advance? sometimes i have feeling like in fluid running in my left cornet side of head and pain is also there

I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

Its not Stroke.No confusion about it.Nor does these symptoms suggest that you are going to have a Stroke.Stroke is an abrupt/sudden onset vascular event.It does not tell in advance about its onset.It just happens all of a sudden.

These symptoms may be related to anxiety.These will be best called as Psychosomatic symptoms with no actual organic disease process.
MRI Brain being normal further confirms that there is no brain related pathology.

I suggest you to consult a Psychiatrist as he is the expert who can offer the best help in this regard.
Meanwhile,please do regular mental relaxation exercises/meditation/Yoga as that will be of great help to improve these symptoms.

Thanks sir for your reply its really helpful sir I want to tell you some more symptoms such as pressure on both side of head.and on top of head.pain in left side of head at between ear and eyes.pain in back side of head feeling dizy from back side of head and top. Sometimes at night I suddenly wake up at found my heartbeat is fast and my left leg or hand is numb or not working or o I am paralysed from left side of face. then I move my legs and found these are normal I am 27 yrs of age weight 98 kg height 5.85 feet my trigyclerides cholesterol are 180 I was worried as if some artery to brain have blocked but your guidance have. Helped me ad like a brother guides.I work in a bank and my thinking process's too has slowed down

I have gone through the further details provided by you.The symptoms are indeed suggestive of psychosomatic etiology.Anxiety is the probable culprit.Pressure on the sides and the back of head is nothing but the Stress headache.History is not at all suggestive of Stroke.

Please start doing regular mental relaxation exercises/meditation/Yoga and observe for the improvement.

Thnx sir I have started yoga already. Sir yesterday I was watching TV and eating food.when I take one bite and look up at TV my neck was stiff and I felt dizy from back of head. Todat I am feeling pain from both side of head.and forehead and back of head sir does wearing tight helmet can cause this?...your advice had really motivated me for exercise.

Its good to know that you have started exercises.You should start showing improvement in just a few days.However,wearing a helmet should not result in these symptoms as these are classical symptoms of Stress headache spectrum.
