Brief Answer:
Venous Pathology

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Delighted to be able to help.

Scalded and pain in leg vein in addition to edema or skin redness are signs suggesting of acute venous pathology (phlebitis-thrombosis). You should go to an emergency department as soon as possible. They examine you and probably will request an doppler ultrasound to rule out this pathology.

If acute venous pathology is ruled out, cellulitis (skin infection) is other possible diagnosis, being necessary in that case the prescription of an antibiotic.

I Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help. If you do not have any clarifications, please don’t forget to evaluate my answer. I wish you good health.
