Posted on Thu, 4 Dec 2014
Question: I have ringing in my ears. Some times while I'm walking I can hear my heart beat in my ears and then I'm passing out. What causes this?
I have had this going on for a while, but it would come and go. This time it is staying with me. Going on for a week now. I cant drive and I feel like I have no energy.

Brief Answer:
Seizures

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

From the history you have given me it looks like you might be having a seizure disorder. Here is how you should go about it

1. Get a CT scan of the brain done to rule out a lesion
2. I would also like you to get an EEG done to see for electrical activity of the brain
3. The next time you have the same feeling I would like you to sit down and not be at heights or around sharp instruments
4.Please meet a neurologist as soon as possible

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
