Brief Answer:
Continue Drotin thrice daily and plenty of oral fluids.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and attached reports.
Noted your history of pain and CT finding of a 3 mm obstructing stone at the UV meaning uretero-vesical junction meaning at a point where the ureter enters the urinary bladder.
Please continue Drotin tablet 3 times a day.
Take plenty of oral fluids.

Since the stone is very small, it will pass into the urinary bladder anytime, relieving the pain.
After this this stone surely passed out of the bladder and you ma have pain in urethra for a day or so.

Very rarely if the stone does not pass, you may need a small procedure like ureteroscopy done by an Urologist.

Take plenty of the fluid, as the kidney filter extra fluid to increase the pressure in the ureter to push the stone into the bladder.
No dietary precautions are needed.

Wishing you an early recovery.
I hope this answer helps you.

Thanks for your reply. I have heard that certain foods(particularly seeded) should be avoided, like brinjal, tomatoes, cold drinks etc. So, should we avoid these completely or in my case they can be taken? Also, soda or citrus foods should be consumed or not?

Brief Answer:
Stop the medicine if the stone passes out.

Detailed Answer:
You can stop the medicines if the stone passed out.
I hope you have undergone the test of Urine: routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
If this is positive for infection you may need to undergo a course of an antibiotic. If urine report is normal no need of any medicines.

Since the stone is small, it can pass out any time unless it is impacted for some reason.

No urine test has been done. The medicines have been started from today itself. How do I come to know whether stone has passed or not? Should I get the urine test done in coming days?
doctor
Answered by Dr. T Chandrakant (7 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Immediate test.

Detailed Answer:
If possible get the urine test done immediately. It does help. Also ask for at least Blood test for: CBC, Sugar, urea and creatinine.
Once the stone has passed from the ureter, the pain will just vanish.
Once it passes from the urethra, you may get a pain in the urethra.
