Brief Answer:
Likely fungal needs antifungal and precaution

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query
As the symptoms has reduced and almost nil in both due to candid treatment, it appears that you both may have fungal infection.
It may be recurrence of fungal Infection in your husband .
So both keep area clean and dry.Wash the area twice daily with warm water.
Check for diabetes in both as it may aid its recurrence.
See no irritation occurs in the area.
You can use candid lotion in both than creams as lotions keep area more dry.
Use condoms to prevent transmission between each other especially during symtomps.
If you need any clarification you can get back.
Thank you
Dr Bharatesh
