default
Posted on Mon, 31 Aug 2015
Question: I have been extremely achy, tired and my heart eels like it is racing. My pulse and BP are both higher than normal ( 90 and 145/90 ). I feel like it has been since I had a either bug or mosquito that may have been infected, which was approximately 3-4 weeks ago. I put Neosporin on it but it is still red . It does not itch or hurt, though. Do you have any ideas? Thank you!

Having read your query, I think of the following possibilities.
A possible viral or parasitic infection which may have been lasting.
It is difficult to say which one exactly.
But there for sure.
The following possible actions you can take,
1 . get some blood tests- CBC, KFT/RFT, LFT and PT/INR
These are basic blood work up. Make sure the lab does a Peripheral smear also as a part of CBC. If not, it will have to be dome additionally.
2. Take some antiinflammatory medicines like paracetamol.
every infection causes problems in the form of infection.
This causes myalgias, headaches, bodyaches etc.
Simple antiinflammatory medicines may help.
3, your blood pressure was just above the normal range.
Get it checked again.
If its still high, you may need BP medicines.
4. Take plenty of fluids. Watch your electrolyte intake andhave some multivitamin pills for a few days.
