Since how long do you have redness and swelling of lips?
Do you have the canker sore in the same area?Is it recurrent?
Do you have fever?
Are you have any difficulty in swallowing food?
What medications have you been taking currently?
How big is the sore?Could you please upload an image if possible?
Do you have any dentures?Have you undergone dental procedures in the past?
Normally all cancer sores are non contagious and heal within 1-3 weeks and pain subsides with a weeks time.Nothing to panic.

Hi dear.Thanks for writing me back.
As discussed it shall heal within a span of 2 weeks.The swelling and redness is seen only in the initial stages and gradually subside within the next 4-5 days.
To hasten the healing I would suggest-
Salt XXXXXXX rinse trice a day.
Local application of mucopain gel twice a day - numbing agent which numbs the skin. If that's not available, you can ask for other numbing agents. Your pharmacist will know about it.
Avoiding irritant foods, nuts, spicy foods, hot drinks like coffee etc.
Brush carefully and maintain good oral hygiene
Drink plenty of fluids
