What Causes Redness And Pain In L5S1 Region?
Question: Dear Dr,
I have pain in L5S1 region and I wonder why that area is red. See the picture please.
I have been to a chiropractor two times. The pain improved but returned back.

That skin redness seems to be after chiropractic manipulation redness most probably by micro vascular involvement, but more information needed about your symptoms, such:
- was the redness there or appeared after manipulation?
-is there warmness too over that area?
If no relations of redness to manipulation in meaning of time, then there may be herpesvirus virus infection.
Botj these possibilities explain your pain too.

Dear Dr.,
I was at chiropractor 2 weeks ago and hence it is not related to manipulation.
I had pain in L5S1 region and chiropractor told me that my neck was stuck and
hence it could not coordinate L5S1 region correctly, etc.
I felt better after two visits but it is one day again pain started in L5S1 region
and now I noticed that redness. There is pain in the place where I have this redness. In addition, I have frequent urination and I was at urologist and he did an ecography and said that i have prostate infection. I do not know if this is related.

From the picture you uploaded, I can't see clearly if there is any skin scratching or no.
If there was a scratch during manipulation or for another reason, and if redness showed days after scratch, then it is probably cellulitis, or infection of underskin soft tissue.
Alcohol compresses should help to treat it.
If not a scratch, then it is most likely herpesvirus infection.
Both are not related to prostate infection.
If the redness continues, or spread, you need to consult your primary care Doctor, have a clinical evaluation and appropriate tests to identify the cause.

i am attaching a video for you for a better diagnosis.
I do not think it is related to infection. can it be related to a compressed nerve or degeneration at L5S1 region?
