What Causes Redness And Itching Sensation On Hands, Wrists And Arms?
Question: ok, i am experiencing redness, itcy, hands, wrists, arms, elbows, with some swelling occasionally and its re-occurring. I dont know if it started with an insect bite or possibly a spider bite?

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Your symptoms are suggesting allergic response which could be due to any cause like insect bite, allergy to anything, etc. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:
- Most important thing is to find the cause and then prevent it.
- Cetirizine one at night for 5 days
- wash your clothes & bedding thoroughly
- I would also suggest you to undergo allergy testing at allergy clinic as you have chronic allergy problem. It will tell that you are allergic to what specific thing. The results will help an allergist to prescribe you immunotherapy to that specific allergen and it will improve the problem.
If condition remains sme or aggravates then you need to visit hospital for further workup.
