Question: What causes red spots on your foot and lower when it gets hot. If I even have shoes on for a few hours more show up and the area burns. Any light or heat makes it burn. I can't even put a blanket over them at night. It takes a week for them to go away if I don't get my feet hot at all, but then next time they come right back.

Brief Answer:
Regarding spots on legs

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the images.

Most likely they are due to xerosis or dryness of skin. I suggest you to out a moisturizer regularly. In addition it would help if you also use a moderately potent topical steroid on the red spots like a Betamethasone Valerate 0.1% or Triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%. Also take an oral antihistamine e.g Cetrizine 10mg once daily for a few days for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query.Let me know if you need any more assistance.
