Brief Answer:
Bacterial infections need to be ruled out- please see below

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking at healthcaremagic.

I carefully read your question and understand your concern.

The fact that the bumps are painful to touch and the way they look in the picture makes me also think they do not seem like bug bites.

There are other causes that might cause the lesions you are having and more information might be needed to better determine the cause and give the proper advises.

Please let me know of the following questions:
1. do you have fever or feel unwell?
2. do you have any changes in the vaginal secretions, any low abdominal pain, or discomfort with intercourse?
3. do you think you are at risk for sexually transmitted disease and have you ever been tested for those? (it is important if your partner has lesions in genital area or secretions)
4. any other possible complaints at the moment?

The sexually transmitted diseases (gonorrhea) can cause sometimes tender nodules in the skin but also other symptoms as mentioned above. Other bacterial infections should be considered also so it is very important to know if you have other symptoms.

Please let me know of the above by replying to this message and i will try to answer asap to let you know how to proceed further.

Kind regards

Antoneta Zotaj, MD
