Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

The relationship of the spot appearing with the flu symptoms or when it's over, don't relate to each other.

Please upload an image of the area where the spot occurs or the spot itself.

For the excessive sweating, I would recommend evaluation of the thyroid via thyroid function tests including tsh.

Let me know if you have any query

Wishing you best of health

Thanks

I have uploaded photo of spot as requested. I would have to disagree that the spot and the flu like symptoms are unrelated. One always happens with the other.

Thank you.

The description given suggest that it may be spinal or sacral herpes, herpes simplex infection of the lower back is common recurrent skin infection that is caused by the HSV they appear as blisters or sores at lower back or virtually anywhere on the skin they can appear periodically on the same site...
There are two types of herpes virus HSV 1 HSV 2, type one causes lesion in oral cavity, lips, face and type two causes lesion on genitals, lower back, buttoks
its higly contagious and spreads due to skin to skin contact after first exposure the sore persist for 1-3 wks but with recurrence it decreases to one week. The virus remains dormant and some conditions like stress, fever or any condition causing your immunity to weeken can awaken the virus to migrate to skin and cause the symptoms. There is no permanent cure for it treatment is symtomatic and antivirals are used to shorten the duration of the disease.
