Brief Answer:
Oseltamivir and influvac prophylaxis is needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your query and concern.

Recurrent flu infections need prophylaxis in the form of Tab Oseltamivir and influenza vaccine.

Before starting the prophylaxis, I advise you to have a chest x ray with a rapid influenza test called QuickVue Influenza A+B test.

Oseltamivir is usually prescribed in doses of 75 mg PO qday for 10 days.

Like wise Influvac vaccine trivalent inactivated split virion is indicated once a year.

Avoid exposure to dust, pollen and bird droppings and feathers.

Please note all the above mentioned drugs should be taken only under medical supervision.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Inherent susceptibility to flu results in recurrent infections.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.

Its not the problem with immune system sir.

Due to fluctuations in the environment ,seasonal trends, nutritional variations and lot more reasons, influenza infections occur.

Some people are inherently susceptible to flu invasion.

You should think of significant immune system dysfunction only when you do not respond to the antimicrobial and vaccine prophylaxis.

Hence i advise you to go through the above measures suggested in my earlier answer and not overwhelm yourself with worry.

Thank you.
