Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be due to serious issue

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Mr XXXXXXX

At your your young rectal bleeding is unlikely to be due to any serious issue.
I would consider the possibility of following

1. Anal fissure : It is more likely if the bleeding or bowel movements are painful

2. Hemorrhoids : It usually causes painless bright bleeding

Exact diagnosis will depend on good clinical examination of anal region followed by per rectal examination. What was the opinion of ER physician?

Awaiting your response

Take care
