Brief Answer:
Bad rashes are caused by the ingredients of Elsone HT.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Hi & Welcome.

I appreciate your concern and it is unfortunate to know that you have developed the side effects of using Elsone HT.

There is nothing to worry about it.

Elsone HT contains Tretinoin and Mometasone apart from having Hydroquinone. Mometasone is a moderately potent steroid which can cause adverse effects on the skin if used repeatedly and for a longer period of time.

Continue using the home remedies like application of lemon juice, curd, etc on the affected part.

Creams containing Kojic acid are found to be beneficial in removing the patches or pigmentation that has occurred as a result of the side effects of Elsone HT.
Kojic acid is a natural product and has been effective to lighten the skin.

It is not known to cause severe dry skin, rashes or contact dermatitis, even in people with sensitive skin.

However, since this is a cosmetic problem I would request a dermatologist's opinion.

Hope to have answered your query.
