What Causes Rash On The Right Arm After An Intercourse?

Question: Had sex about 19 days ago and now I have a rash that developed on the right arm and now is on the left arm. Went to the doctor and they said it looks like a virus caused rash and I have no other symptoms and it does not itch. Is this a sign of hiv

You are concerned that after having sex 19 days ago you have an unexplained rash. This rash is probably viral and not related to any sexually transmitted disease. There are no STD that develop rashes 2 weeks after exposure. So I can reassure you that in all likelihood this is a viral rash from other type of exposure.

I was reading that 2weeks after HIV exposure it that a rash usually developes but along with flu like issues. Any idea what type of viral rash this could be?

There are way too many viruses that cause rashes so I can't tell you what kind it is. I would recommend that if you have unprotected sex and at risk for HIV then you should get regular testing

Thank you for your assistance but just confirming there is no STD that would cause a rash on the arm only not itchy and with no other symptoms 2 weeks later.
