Detailed Answer:
Hi
Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic!
Thanks for consulting at HCM virtual clinic. I have carefully gone through your query, and I think I have understood your concern. I will try to address your medical concerns and would suggest you the best of the available treatment options.

1) First of all do not panic.

2) I really appreciate your awareness about your weight gain - as total in pregnancy and over last weeks's time.

On both fronts weight gain is much more than expected.
Getting trace amounts of proteins in urine needs to be monitored weekly along with blood pressure check up.

3) I will suggest you to check blood pressure every alternate day. Values more than 130/90 mm of Hg, indicate pregnancy induced hypertension -PIH. This rise and appearance of urinary proteins needs keen attention and expert treatment. If needed safe anti-hypertensive drugs used in pregnancy can be started.

4) I will suggest indulging in a healthy diet and regular exercise regime.

Include plenty of fruits, salads, vegetables in the diet.
Have adequate water intake , say 8 – 10 glasses per day.
Avoid deep fried foods, bakery products, and refined sugars.
Avoid substance abuse, if any.

5) Have daily fetal movement count/ kick count of the baby, USG aimed at fetal growth parameters and Fetal Doppler studies will be of help to find out any risk to baby. Noninvasive test called NST- Non stress test , on weekly basis will be of help.

With all fetal monitoring and your routine check ups , taking pregnancy to 36 to 37 weeks helps in achieving better pregnancy outcome.

I hope my answer helps you.
Thanks.
Wish you great health.

Brief Answer:
Blood pressure and urine check up.Cinical symptoms need monitoring

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for appreciating the answer and reverting back.

As mentioned earlier, we need to follow blood pressure and urine excretion of protein. Any rise in the blood pressure and other clinical symptoms like edema (swelling ) of the kegs will be suggesting pre eclampsia .

Please do not worry. Keeping watch and being alert will be helpful. Also , as pregnancy is of such duration that reaching 36 to 37 weeks will definitely give good pregnancy outcome.

I hope this answer helps you. Thanks
