What Causes Pricking Sensation In Left Arm?

Question: I am having pricking sensation in my left arm, from elbow to thumb. When I move my arm, it feels like current shock with slight amount of pain.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. These symptoms are suggestive of nerve pain. The most likely cause could be CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome). CTS occurs due to a pinched nerve at the level of wrist.

As of now, you can take pregabalin or gabapentin capsules for relief of symptoms.

If the symptoms persist, you may get a nerve conduction studies done for an accurate diagnosis.
