Question: Hello Doctor,
This is XXXXXXX working as software engineer.I was having right maxillary sinusitis 3 months back and confirmed by doing CT scan. After three weeks i did CT scan again after taking medicines and it came normal.no sinusitis found in report. From then i started feeling pressure in my right ear and slowly in head..sometimes drowsyness and eyes strain.I continue feeling the same not very severe but it exists. And also mild pain when press both the sides of forehead i was also having mild ba.ckpain for which i do isometric excercises.

So iam in confusion that are these because of any neuro issues or ENT issues as i read that same symtoms are seen in neuro issues aswell. How should i start proceeding further in investigation? Thanks in advance

Brief Answer:
These are suggestive of muscle tension headache.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. I would like to reassure you that you have no ENT issues now, as the sinusitis on the CT scan has disappeared.

Your symptoms are suggestive of muscle tension headache.

You should get evaluated by a neurologist.

You would benefit from medications such as dothiepin and amitriptyline.

If needed, an MRI scan of brain may be done.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
