What Causes Persistent Stomach Cramps, Diarrhea And Severe Pain In Left Shoulder Blade?
Question: For the last 48-72 hours I have been experiencing mild stop moderate stomach cramps. In the last 24 hours the cramps have subsided but have been experiencing diarrhea. In the last 3 hours have had severe pain in and under left shoulder blade. No breathing issues or chest pain

To recapitulate: Male/33 has spontaneous pneumothorax right side on 1/7/16 - details of treatment not available - cramps in abdomen since 48-72 hours - cramps subsided in last 24 hours but diarrhea - 3 hours > severe pain in and under left shoulder blade - no breathing issues or chest pain.
I would suggest you the following in view of the past and present history:
- Visit ER at once as you need urgent investigations, clinical evaluation and management.
- You need urgent investigations like:
Blood: routine, amylse, lipase, liver and kidney function
Urine: routine and microscopy
Stool: routine and microscopy
Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen and lower chest (helps for pleural effusion).
X-ray chest
EKG in view of pain
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor
Admission and further management as per the reports.
The most probable reasons can be:
Pancreatitis
Left lung or pleural pathology
Rare chance of Heart attack
Stomach ulcer and so on.
