Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having persistent headache.
The common causes to be ruled out are eye problems like uncorrected refractive error and primary headaches like migraine....

First I advice you to consult your optometrist for visual assessment and if it is normal you need to consult your physician doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Do get back to me with the examination results so that I can advice more accurately.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

I have consulted an ophthalmologist and nothing seems unusual in the eye. He has advised some painkillers followed by MRI scan. I am using Grenil and Numol A. I experience seasonal allergy / allergic rhinitis in the months of Aug. Sept. And Oct. but headache is not restricted to these months it is persistent.

Brief Answer:
The history suggests of migraine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

I reviewed your history.
Since eye examination is normal no need to worry about refractive error and you can continue the +0.75 glasses for correction of near vision.
You are presently on treatment for primary headache like migraine and you are on treatment by Grenil and Numol A.
Since the attacks of headache are recurrent in nature you may require prophylactic tablets to prevent recurrences. The commonly used prophylactic drugs are flunarizine or beta blockers like propranolol.
Hence you need to consult your doctor for prescription of the drugs after confirmation of diagnosis. He has asked for MRI scan to rule out other structural causes and to confirm the diagnosis.
Hence I advice you to go for the scan and later once the diagnosis is confirmed you can go for the prophylactic drugs accordingly.

Hope the information is helpful to you.
