Brief Answer:
You should immediately get rehydrated...

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

All your symptoms are caused by acute diarrhea. During diarrhea and sweating the patient get dehydrated and he loses blood electrolytes(sodium and potassium).
In your case heart palpitations are caused by lost electrolytes.

In these cases I recommend ORS(Oral Rehydration Solution) for body rehydration.

If you don't see any improvement you should go to Emergency Room and you will need the following tests in order to find the diagnosis:
- Electrocardiogram.
- Complete blood count.
- Blood test for electrolyte levels.
- Urine test.
- Stool culture.

You should also contact your infectologist to discuss about the treatment.

Ask me for anything unclear.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
