Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I am Dr.Rovena Murati. I read carefully your query and I can understand your concern.

Feeling pain when walking or sitting after back surgery is very common. It may take several weeks to months to recover completely after a back surgery because the nerve structures take time to heal.
You need to give it some more time. The important thing is to have a gradual improvement .
If the pain is the same even after 6-8 weeks ,with no significant improvement you may need to discuss it with your doctor.
Right now you don't need to worry. You just need to give it some more time.If the pain interferes a lot with your daily function ,your doctor can prescribe you a stronger pain medication.

Hope it helps.
Please feel free to ask for every question you might have .

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
