Brief Answer:
Get MRI scan of shoulder.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through the query.

From the symptoms it seems there occurs muscle pull or at the most small tear in muscles around shoulder I.e rotator cuff.

If you are unable to abduct your arm overhead then you need to have MRI scan of shoulder joint which will detect that small tear.

If you can abduct your arm overhead without pain then its muscle pull and it will heal by medicine as advised below.

I also advise you to visit orthopedic surgeon as you need physical examination of shoulder joint, he will do certain tests like emty can test, Apley Scratch Test etc, which are necessary for your diagnosis.

He may also advise you MRI scan.

Diagnosis of shoulder pain or injury cannot be made without having physical examination I.e why I have advised you visit orthopedic surgeon.

Till then avoid weightlifting etc.

Have tab. aceclofenac100mg+serratiopeptidase15mg thrice a day by prescription of your treating doctor.

Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.

I hope it helps.

Thanks,

Dr.CHANDER XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
