Brief Answer:
Multiple causes possible. Needs exclusion by clinical examination.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through the details provided. The right lower quadrant of abdomen has structures like the appendix and the right ovary. Irregularities in bowel movements could also be the related. So, a proper clinical examination is needed to identify the definitive cause of the pain. Based on the clinical findings an ultrasound might also be required.

The muscle stiffness of your back could be due to muscle spasm and in such a case taking muscle relaxants like tizanidine (prescription medicine) can provide relief. Hot compress would also be helpful. Muscle spasm could also account for the lower right quadrant pain but other possibilities need to be excluded first.

Let me know if I could help further.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I understand your situation but examining you clinically is beyond the scope offered by such an online discussion. In such a case all I can suggest you to do is to wait for the gastroenterologist's appointment.

Let me know if I could help in any specific way.

In addition to my previous symptom i am having what feels like skin infection or irritation in anal area. This is a recurrance of a the same problem i had about 2 months ago and was given an ointment to use to clear it up. However i my opinion this latest symptom is related to whatever is going on in my bowels.

Brief Answer:
Let me know the name of the ointment used.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. The main problem with your case is that it requires a proper clinical examination. An image could have helped but it is hard to take one with appropriate positioning and details. Let me know the name of the ointment and I will get an idea about what it could be all about.

Take Sitz bath as I mentioned. Let me know if you have constipation. Also let me know if it is entirely external or whether there is an internal extension as well.

30 gm nifedipine .3% in vaseline
50 gm clortimazole 2% cr:HC 1%
I believe hemroids ? Spelling? were found external. No internal exam was done.
Dr said dermatitis. The ointments fixed the problem but it has returned. I guess it could be hemroids again

Brief Answer:
Follow my guidance and you should be relieved

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Finally I have the confirmation that things are exact as I had thought to be and I had also kept the dermatitis component in consideration.

Sitz bath should help. You may use the ointment once again. Alongside you can take Daflon tablet 500 mg six times daily for 4 days followed by thrice daily for another 3 days. This is a prescription medicine and so you might need to get it written down by your doctor.

You need to take a fiber rich diet and also fiber supplements if feasible.

Hope that helps.
