Dear Mr XXXXXXX

Pain on touching or pain elicited by pressure is known as Tenderness. As you are experiencing tenderness in upper abdomen it's likely to be due to Acid peptic disease. Following could be the predisposing factors

1. Irregular intake of meals

2. Increased consumption of alcohol /ccaffeinated / carbonated beverages

3. Stress and anxiety

I would suggest you the following which will be helpful

1. Ensure intake of meals at right time. Avoid skipping meals

2. Antacid like Pantoprozole tablet will be helpful

3. Liquid antacid will help

4. Avoid carbonated / alcohol / caffeinated beverage
