What Causes Pain In Penis After Unprotected Oral Sex?

default
Posted on Mon, 14 Apr 2014
Question: Hi Doctor, I recently had protected sex with a woman and unprotected oral sex. The day after the encounter I felt a dull pain on the right side of penis right near the head. The pain only arises when I flex my penis or squeeze the area. I don't feel any other kind of pain in terms of urination or ejaculation or getting hard. My initial thought is that it is due to the woman using excessive teeth during oral sex or a muscle strain of some kind in the penis. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer: It could be minor injury so just relax and wait. Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for choosing www.healthcaremagic.com I think you are spot on by assuming that it could be due to use of teeth during sucking. Pain in penis can be either due to infection or injury. The fact that you have no urinary symptoms safely rules out infectionso it has to be a mild injury to cavernosal muscle. it will be all right in a couple of days . No need of medicine Dr Saatiish Jhuntrraa

Thank you for the reply doctor. It has been 4 days since the injury and I still feel the dull pain. Do you suggest I wait a few more days? Put ice on it? Refrain from masturbating for sometime?

Brief Answer: Wait for a week Detailed Answer: Hello It may take up to a week for any intrapenile injury to heal. Putting ice may not help now after 4 days . Just give rest to it, avoid sex or masturbation for a week. Dr Saatiish Jhuntrraa
