Brief Answer:
Does she have any other symptoms?

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/41 - GB Surgery on Monday - pain approx an inch or two below naval - concern is colon as your Aunt died after GB surgery due to nicked colon - She is taking Ibuprofen only...
I could not understand by ''She hasn't been back since Monday'' as you have written in Medications tried.

The pain as you have mentioned is not common but does not look to be related to colon, the cause is usually due to may be hematoma formation at the umbilical port causing pain just below.

Does she have any nausea, vomiting, bloating, change of bowel habits, itching, jaundice or so? If not present, nothing much to worry about.

I hope this answers your query, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
