Brief Answer:
Cholecyst/constipation...further tests advised...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and my thoughts go for possible cholecyst problems.

Further tests are advised to determine the right cause:
- abdominal ultrasound
- complete blood count

Another possible cause could be constipation, due to spasms of hepatic flexure located at the place you are feeling pain.

I advise to continue taking Tums, and baking soda and to discuss with your doctor to prescribe buscopan/papaverin to relieve the pain until the final results of tests are in.

Hope it helped!

This afternoon while I was waiting for the response I started having a severe headache (which is very abnormal for me) I am pretty healthy and eat well but I did eat a salad with broccoli, cauliflower and carrots that were half cooked on Thanksgiving and have not had a bowel movement in 2 days?

Brief Answer:
Suggestions to avoid constipation. Need some info on alcohol use and stress..

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you giving more of your medical data.
You are saying that you haven't had a bowel movement in 2 days and this explain your abdominal pain.
Try to avoid constipation using plenty of water and vegetables reached in fibers.
With regards to your headache it doesn't seems to be related with salad use.
I would kindly ask if you have used alcohol on Thanks giving day? Has the day been stressful ?
Wishing you all the best.
