What Causes Pain In Buttock Cheek And Back Of The Leg?

Question: I have pulled something right under my butt cheek.it felt like a tear. It aches when i sit . Pain is down the back of leg and around the very top inside. Its been 2 weeks.

Brief Answer: can be a perianal abscess Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. Your symptoms are very similar to one presenting with a perianal abscess, though you are not having any fever. But that can be there if the abscess is a small one. I would suggest that you show to a surgeon for a physical examination as further management will depend upon the clinical findings. Till you show to one, you may take a painkiller for symptomatic relief. I guess you are not having any constipation or bleeding from there. As if it is there it can even be a fissure.
