What Causes Pain In Back Of Head And Restricted Movement In Neck?
Traction will help.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached reports. There is mild subluxation of the atlanto axial joint. This can happen due to excessive muscle spasm. The main treatment of such condition is pain killers and muscle relaxants with regular physiotherapy. This will help in decreasing the muscle spasm. The neck traction will also help in correcting the subluxation. Physiotherapy will be needed after the traction.
I hope this answers your query.

Exercises at home will not help.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Just a hot pack therapy and stretching at home will not help. You do not know which muscles need to be stretched. It is better to learn the proper exercises from a proficient physiotherapist and then do them at home.
Traction will help in bringing back the displaced joint. Physiotherapy will help him more than a neurosurgeon.
Waiting further will not help. It is not likely to get corrected on its own.
At this point do start with physiotherapy and see its response after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement then go for traction for full cure.
Hope my answer is helpful.

now our main concern is he has little tilted his head to right face to left as said above,so what are the precautions we should take before we go for furthe physiotherapy suggestion font u think physiotherapy may worsen the case ,this is what we are much worried as all neurologists have stopped further physiotherapy. Ur last final suggestion can help us in avoiding any confusions and getting my child back to normalcy. Please advise with ur visual understanding on this. How much complexity is involved in delaying any treatment rather than reaction.
Avoid abnormal neck positions and pillow.
Detailed Answer:
Yes. He should avoid all abnormal neck positions. Avoid watching TV for long time.
After physiotherapy your child is much better now. The mild tilt will also correct by itself with mild stretching exercises. Physiotherapy can be stopped.
He can do mild exercises at home. Go after 2 weeks for re evaluation. In case there is any deterioration then traction or further physiotherapy can be considered.
