Brief Answer:
Probably nothing to worry about; some cardiac tests

Detailed Answer:
Greetings. Thank you for your question and welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.

The relation between various body parts pain and your heart fluttering is unlikely. The pain in these parts could be a result of anything, most likely from bad positioning in the bed, or any acute or chronic inflammation of the locomotory system - muscle and/or joints. This pain could be easily treatid with OTC NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen - which you took today, as I can see in your medical history.

As about the heart fluttering and dizziness, these are non-specific complaints, therefore the differential diagnosis can be from "there is nothing to worry about" to "some treatable heart condition. The latter has really a very little possibility, but it is not impossible. Heart can produce a feeling of fluttering or "jumping out of the throat" every time premature beats are produced. These happen mostly after strenuous physical activity or due to psychological stress.

Just to be "in the clear", I would recommend you an EKG - to assess the heart electrical and conduction systems, and an echocardiogram - to evaluate the size, motility and function of heart muscle and heart valves. Judged by these two tests, one can exclude or confirm heart problems with high probability. Additionally, a cardiac stress test and a 24-hour rhythm monitor can be recommended to you, judged by the two tests I recommended you above.

I hope I was helpful with my answer. If you have follow-up questions, I would be happy to help. Please rate my answer, if you do not. I wish you a good health.

Kind regards,
Dr. Meriton
