What Causes Pain At Base Of Skull And Fever After Lymph Gland Removal?

Question: Had lymph gland in neck removed since then I have fever and aches where I can't walk severe pain at base of skull headache and memory problem. I have had a mri, blood test and told I have glandular fever. I have been told that I have also got candida after pap test. This is the third week of fever and aches and sometimes I feel Ok, but the next day feverish and excruciating neck and behind and above right ear. I feel like a hypochondriac. Please help me with your opinion. I am 47.
