Brief Answer:
It may be peripheral neuritis or carpal tunnel syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for the query.

Usually,at this age, pain and burning/tingling feeling in the feet occur due to peripheral neuritis. It is a condition in which the ends of the peripheral nerves are inflammed . This occurs because of deficency of vitamins, especially vitamin B6 and vitamin B12.

As far as the tingling numbness in your hands is concerned, the symptoms may be due to the same cause (peripheral neuritis ). But as you mentioned, there is a possibilty of associated carpal tunnel syndrome too.

To differentiate between the two conditions and make a perfect diagnosis, NERVE CONDUCTION VELOCITY and ELECTROMYOGRAPHY studies will help.

Peripheral neuritis can be treated with multivitamin tablets,to be taken for atleast 1-2 months. You can take anti inflammatory analgesic tablets for pain.
Applying local creams for the burning areas before sleeping will ease the symptoms.

Feel free to get back to me if you have any further doubts.
Thank you.
