Posted on Mon, 19 Jan 2015
Question: TWO WEEKS AGO I HAD A HEART XXXXXXX IN MY RIGHT WRIST. IT WAS PAINFUL, AND MY WAS SWOLLEN FOR A WEEK. IN THIS SECOND + WEEK I STARTED WITH AN OVAL PLYABLE LUMP CLOSE TO THE XXXXXXX WOUND WHICH HAS ENLARGED TO 2 TIMES MAYBE 2", TODAY I NOTICED ANOTHER LUMP ON THE BACK OF THAT HAND, SIMILAR TO THE FIRST LUMS, STILL THERE BUT WITH SOME SPACE BETWEEN THE TWO. I NOW HAVE NOTICED ANOTHER LUMD ON THE INSIDE OF MY ELBOW. I HAVE A SLIGHT RASH ON FOREARM. THESE START AS A SLIGHT PAIN FEELING LIKE A NERVE PAIN, BUT ARE NOT PAINFUL IN GENERAL. I HAVE MARKED THE AREAS WITH A PEN TO KEEP TRACK. I READ ON LIPOMA AND LOOKED AT A PICTURES, BUT MINE ARE NOT RAISED TOO MUCH

Brief Answer:
looks to be Urticaria (allergic)

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

I would like to have a look at the picture of these lesions. You may please upload them with this query on the right side or mail them to YYYY@YYYY with subject line as "attention to Dr. chandrakant".

I have read the history and think that these are urticatrial rash as per the history you have provided. It would be difficult to know what caused it.

I would advise you to take an antihistamine orally, do not apply anything locally.
If this is due to allergy to something antihistamine would help you the most. If required a few doses of oral steroids may be necessary.

Consultation of a Doctor would help to confirm the diagnosis and get a prescription.

I hope this answer helps you. Please feel free to ask for more if you need to or if you feel there is a gap of communications.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
