Question: I had a plastic surgery on Monday of this week and everything was going well until today my bladder stopped working and it hurts and I can only do a little pee and I continue to drink water constantly. I feel a lot of pain and my belly looks very swollen and also when I can pee it seems that my belly will explode, it is not burning, it just hurts a lot

Brief Answer:
Bladder neck obstruction as most probable cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
To recapitulate: Male/43 - plastic surgery on Monday - bladder stopped working today - little pee - lot of pain - belly looks swollen - feels will explode when try to pee - no burning - drinking water constantly ...
Your history is suggestive of obstruction in urinary outflow hence the bladder is very tense and full. Whatever urine you can pee may actually be overflow.
I would advise you the following:
Apply hot water bag to the lower abdomen sometimes helps to relieve the urinary obstruction.
Visit Er asap as you need a clinical evaluation, examination, Ultrasonography to confirm the full bladder and probably the cause and have catherization to relieve the obstruction and plan to get the cause and treat the cause too.
Also get the urine tested once relieved and of blood too for CBC and kidney functions.
I hope this answer helps you; please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
