Brief Answer:
Yes , its most probably urinary tract infection .

Detailed Answer:
Hello Klgabel
I am Dr Rahul and it would be my pleasure to help you in clearing your doubts .
Your guess is very much right as the symptoms described by you are clearly indicating towards urinary tract infection .
The symptom of burning micturition is most commonly due to a infection in any part of the urinary tract , that is , kidneys / ureters / urinary bladder / urethra .
However some of the other causes which can lead to similar symptoms which you have includes --
(1) Stone anywhere in the urinary tract
(2) Pelvic Inflammatory Disease , that is , infection of the female genital organs , most commonly involving vagina or cervix and surrounding tissues
(3) Cancer of any part of urinary tract specially of the urinary bladder
I would advice you to visit a urologist near you who would ask you to get a few tests done , specifically , urine analysis and ultrasound of the urinary tract , which will help in making a precise diagnosis of the underlying cause in your case .
I hope i have answered your query to your satisfaction but if you have any further doubts , please feel at ease to ask me .
Take Care
