Brief Answer:
Due to compression of nerve root leads to pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have studied your case.
Due to compression of nerve root there is pain in your chest.
Due to occlusion of vessels there can be burning sensation.
This can be related to smoking also.

I will advise you to do MRI thoracic spine, HRCT [CHEST] and EMG- NCV [nerve conduction study]

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
If tests are normal then gastric endoscopy may be required to rule out gastric ulcer leading to heartburn.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
You need further investigation

Detailed Answer:
Hello again
You may need to do lung Function test, HRCT
And slowly you need to stop smoking completely.

There are medicines available which reduce the craving for nicotine and make it easier to quit. These are started before quitting and after these become effective, a quit-date is set. On the pre-appointed date, you quit. Because of the medicine's effect, it is easier to remain abstinent. After you have been abstinent for a few months, the medicines are stopped.

You can opt to stop smoking and use other forms of nicotine replacement when you are unable to control the craving. Nicotine containing chewing gums are available for this purpose. After a few days, you can reduce the number of chewing gums that you are taking per day and gradually taper it off. These save you from the harmful effects of smoke, but are still not harmless as they contain nicotine
