Brief Answer:
Occult blood likely to be feed allergy

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Sir,

Feed allergy especially to Lactose and protein content of artifical external feed like Lactogen or animal protein leads to presence of occult blood in stool.

Substituting it by hypoallergic feed like Soya protein may be helpful.

Feed intolerance usually manifest as

1. Inadequate gain of weight
2. Altered stool color especially presence of frothy stools
3. Presence of occult blood in stools

The baby should definitely improve.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
