my issue is I have been feeling pressure on my gums , I do get the occasional gum pain by the molars & a bit of pressure mainly on the right side molar, but I goes away for weeks or months, this week again I have feelings of pressure around my gums, but it's just that pressure , I can eat normally and do activities normally. I do need to go see the dentist since I didn't have dental insurance , but I was told 5 years ago that I needed them remove because it may create pressure .

Brief Answer:
gum infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello

it can be due to gum infection or periodontal problem around the molar.

sometimes excessive pressure on teeth can also cause this type of problem like in bruxism.

if your molar has no decay then the problem is mainly related to the gums.
I don't think there is any necessity to remove the tooth in that case.

I believe visit to a dentist once will help you . You can get a complete cleaning of your teeth and gums done. If there is a decay then you should get it filled.

If you have recent dental X-ray, you can upload it here. I can review it and comment further.

don't have it yet DR. I need to go get that done, but my molars are actually well tight next to the cheeks bones, so that's where the pain comes from time to time , then it just goes away. right now what I feel is just a tightness, no pain or anything just that sensation around the jaw and the occasional pressure.

Brief Answer:
impaction

Detailed Answer:
It seems that its a case of impacted molar.

if the molars are erupted partially or not in a straight line then it can cause you pressure sensation and pain.

If its causing you lot of discomfort then you should have to get it removed.

meanwhile you are doing the right thing to have warm saline rinse and mouthwash.try to keep that area clean.

hope this answer helps

Dr. I attached two pictures first one is the left side back you can see molar and some red dots , maybe due to grinding or accidentally biting the sides hope it looks ok and normal. The next upload is my right side molar and this one is a bit deeper as you can see. Hope all comes clear, will do the saline wash n mouthwash to keep it fresh n clean ,. Will wait for answer.

Brief Answer:
partially erupted molars

Detailed Answer:
by looking at your pictures you uploaded it is quite clear that both molars are not completely erupted. that's why gums around those teeth are loose and causing you pressure sensation and pain.

molars are also Mal-alighned causing you cheek bites.

if its causing you frequent pain and discomfort then i would advice you to get it removed otherwise you can just keep the area clean and regular visit to the dentist with proper gum cleaning (scaling) can also help.

for regular cheek bites they can round off the cusp edges.

Hope this answer helps.
Take care
