Question: I experience bilateral numbness and tingling of pinky fingers while sleeping , also have high blood pressure being controlled with lisinipril

Tingling in hand and fingers especially at night may be due to carpal tunnel syndrome.
You should visit to a Neurologist for examination and investigation.
You may require nerve conduction studies.
You may require CTS splint.
Medications like omnacortil, pregabalin, gabapentin and pain killers may be helpful.
Surgical options are available.

researching online it states it is the thumb and first three fingers, not the pinky fingers, would a general physician be able to help? also what treatments are available?

Hello,
Involvement of only little finger may be due to nerve root compression at neck or ulnar neuropathy.
Get examined by a doctor.
NCV may be required followed by imaging of cervical spine.
