Question: My grandson fell backwards and hit his head and his nose started to bleed. Acting normal so far. Please advise.

Apparently,he did not lose consciousness and did not suffer any neurological deficit,so it does not appear to be a major threat issue.

However,to be on the safer side,take him to an ENT specialist and get examined for any significant injury which could be the cause of nasal bleed.If bleeding is ongoing,nasal packing should be done.
