Brief Answer:
Could be arrhythmia or heart block, Needs further workup at hospital

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. Skipping beat is something to be taken seriously. From your history i concluded that it needs further workup as there is also family history of heart problem. You could be suffering from arrhythmia or heart block. I would suggest you to visit hospital and set an appointment with a cardiologist. He will perform detailed examination followed by some investigations and on top of the list is E.C.G. It will give details of skipping beat. Treatment will depend on the results of the examination & labs.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
