Brief Answer:
dehydration and lack of sleep and poor breast feeding posture for backpain

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
It i generally unlikely that the pain due to spinal anaesthesia/ epidural over your lower back should be lasting this long for 10 months but lower back ache in breast feeding mothers is potentiated with poor feeding postures and can definitely add strain to the lower back and hence pain. It is important that you support your lower back while breast feeding so that it takes the minimum strain and you can use hot fomentation frequently to soothe the pain.
Secondly the dizziness is especially seen in women who have been waking up frequently to feed their child and getting inadequate sleep and have been not keeping their hydration levels in check. Dehydration is the most common cause of dizziness in breast feeding moms. you should be drinking 12-15 glasses of water daily to allow better circulation and also milk production. this should help you relieve your symptom and yes adequate rest with sleep is also important. So the best way is to sleep with the baby and get up with the baby, slowly circadian rhythm should be established and you shall not feel tired. Try it and i am sure you should be benefitted.

Thanks doc, very helpful answer, only one problem is that since I am working mother its next to impossible to follow sleeping cycle of my baby. My baby stays away from me during day time hence he latches on to me a night and more than hunger its for cozyness and sence of closseness he wants me hence he gets up very frequently and so do i. please help if you can suggest something
I will take care of hydration part as I am very careless in dinking water. posture is also an issue with me..hence will surely take your advice and use some support while feeding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
In that case the answer is to sleep or retire to bed early and try to change the habit of your child accordingly , once the child goes into REM cycle of sleep i e after 2-3 hrs then the frequency of getting up reduces especially in wee hours of morning, so that is the time when you can compensate for the missed sleep part and also retire to bed after a nice hot shower , that shall help you relax further.
Neatly for the support during breast feeding, you can place a pillow at lower back while sitting on chair and a pillow on your lap and place the child over it to disallow strain and stress on your arms and hence the lower back..
