Question: why am I depressed only when I don't have a significant other? I feel so lost and lonely

if you are having
low mood, loss of energy.
Loss of interest in all cheerful activities which were cheerful previously.
hopelessness, reduced sleep, tearfulness,
feeling yourself a looser, loss of appetite,
poor concentration, feeling of loneliness

you are having some depression.


do not worry it is very common problem in your age group girls and easily treatable.

treatment:
go for counselling and behavioral therapy. it will help you a lot to overcome such situations. group therapies play a vital role.
make some more friends, try to make yourself busy, share things with your parents and close friends. do some exercises as it will secreate endorphins in your brain and you will feel cheerful.

if your problem still persists, than go for some medication like SSRI'S and benzodiazepines.

do not worry. you will be fine soon.
