may be due to poor oral hygiene or side effects of drugs

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Weakness is very common in this age plus you have diseases like prostate cancer and epilepsy etc. So this is not unnatural. I would suggest regular brisk exercise and multivitamin syrup for a month for weakness. Proper healthy diet is also essential.
Metallic taste can have many reasons but from your history, poor oral hygiene, chemotherapy for prostate cancer, side effects of antidepressants might be probable causes. So maintain good oral hygiene, use mouthwash. Also you can wean off antidepressants slowly if not needed. Let me tell you that initially multivitamins might also give you metallic taste. Do not worry.
This is not a serious symptom.

Hope this was useful.
Regards.
