Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

There are a couple of possibilities here. This could be a cyst or possibly a fluid collection as a referred to as a hydrocele.

Of course it is necessary to rule out other possible issues including some type of cancer. If this is a new finding I would suggest that you schedule an appointment with your primary care physician for a focused consultation in foreight focused consultation and physical examination.

Your doctor may consider requesting an ultrasound as well to further characterize what you are feeling anatomically.

If it is just a cyst or fluid collection it can likely be observed or possibly drained if it is very uncomfortable. If there is some other finding more concerned than your doctor might recommend a biopsy.

Thank you again for sending your question. Please contact your Doctor to schedule an appointment to discuss.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
