Dear, I reviewed both queries, but I could not find any information- which leg was treated for Varicose vein?Which leg had venous lump above the ankle?
How was the post-treatment progress after Endo-Venous -RFA(Radio-Frequency-Ablation)-treatment for Varicose Veins?Was there any swelling in lower legs/pain in calf etc?
Was there any increase in the lower leg girth -post-treatment?
How long You are without the Venous Stockings lately prior to this event?
Any pains in the lower post-thigh area/ or in calf area-in first 6 weeks post-treatment 3 yrs back ?
Since how long time, you observed pain in ankle on its ?Up or /?Down-movements ?
What you mean by-post thigh pain while bending ankle-please explain more?
Please update -how long you are there in France?

My Reply to your query-
Q-1-My question is whether you think I should see the doctor here for a pain in the lower, back, left-side of thigh when bending ankle or when pressed on the same leg?

Ans-1-As you have complaints of pain,while ?Dorsi-flexion(upward)/Plantar-flexion(downward) of ankle joint?, chances of chronic venous incompetency deep leg veins is suspected.
In this scenario I would suggest you to Consult Vascular Surgeon-as soon as possible-as suggested in last session.
And get the USG and Colour Doppler Study of the leg Veins on the side of the vascular swelling and of other legs-for comparative study-for any DVT after Radio-frequency Ablation of the Varicose Veins.

In absence of any more details,I can't assess the severity of this vascular swelling above the ankle,as this swelling could be from your Old or new progressive DVT(Deep Vein Thrombosis).

-Whether to Show it to French Doctors-while in France?
Still-based on available information-The choice of showing it to FRENCH doctors is not an emergency,if this thigh pain reduces and recovers in next 2-3 days.It could be used only if more pain continues after 3 days time.

Any more information as asked above, would help Me to suggest further course of action,after specific questions hereafter.

Next appointment-
